What did Noteefy ship in October 2026?
Noteefy launched its Booking Engine on October 15, 2026, then shipped faster mobile tee time cards, customizable AI Pro Shop Assistant quick actions, automatic llms.txt listings for AI discovery, saved cards at checkout, and Important announcements for closures and frost delays.
On October 15 we launched the Noteefy AI Booking Engine: a direct booking engine built for how golfers are searching and reserving their tee times. Golfers can book a tee time on your own site, through your AI Pro Shop Assistant, or by asking AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Muse. Whichever way they come in, the booking, the golfer and the data stay with your course instead of a marketplace.
Launch day was just the beginning for the Noteefy AI Booking Engine. Here's what we've shipped since, most of it from listening to the courses already live on the platform.
Enabling AI Assistants to Find Your Course
Every live booking engine course is now listed in an llms.txt file, a newer standard that tells AI tools what's on a site and where to book. Not every AI tool reads it yet, but more are adopting it, and your course is listed automatically the day it goes live. It's one more way to stay visible as golfers start asking AI where to play.
Returning Golfers Check Out Using Saved Payment Methods
On courses using our integrated checkout, returning golfers can now pay with a card they've already saved on Stripe, with no retyping. They can also remove a saved card right from checkout. Fewer steps, fewer abandoned bookings and fewer "I already entered my card" calls to the pro shop.
Faster Mobile Booking Experience
Most golfers book on their phones, so we streamlined the tee time cards on mobile. Players, holes, and cart sit on one line (like "2-4 · 9/18 · Cart incl."), so more tee times fit on screen and it's quicker to scan and book without scrolling. Every card now shows the group size a golfer can actually book, so nobody picks a time expecting a foursome and finds out it only takes two.
More Control Over Your AI Pro Shop Assistant's Quick Actions
Quick action buttons on your Noteefy AI Pro Shop Assistant are now fully configurable. For each button, you decide what happens when a golfer taps it: send the button's text to the assistant, send a custom prompt you write, or link directly to any page you choose, like a course map, a rates page or your booking engine.
That puts you in charge of which questions golfers see first and exactly what the assistant is asked, so every tap leads somewhere useful. And when the assistant is running inside the booking engine, links keep golfers right where they are instead of opening a new tab.
Inform Golfers with Important Announcements
Courses can now mark an announcement as Important, which sits at the top of the booking page, never collapses, and on mobile it shows above the waitlist signup, so golfers see the frost delay, closure or cart-path-only notice before they book. As the season winds down in a lot of markets, this one's well timed.
Also New This Month
- Course contact info is clickable. Your course name links to your website, the address opens Google Maps, and the phone number starts a call.
- The Waitlist admin has a new home. It's moving to admin.noteefy.app, and the old noteefy.app/admin retires November 30.
